概要
モーリシャスの波静かな北西海岸にあるトゥル・オー・ビッシュは、モクマオウやヤシの木、穏やかで透き通った海に縁取られた、淡い色の砂浜が長く延びるビーチです。ラグーンは沖合のサンゴ礁に守られ、波は穏やかで、明るいターコイズの色合いが礁に近づくにつれて深まっていきます。西を向いた眺望は、ここを島でも屈指の優美な夕日の名所にしており、温かな色に染まる夕空を背景に漁船がシルエットとなって浮かび上がります。
このビーチは海水浴とシュノーケリングに特に適しています。透明度の高いときにはラグーン内でサンゴの群生や熱帯魚に出合え、現地ではグラスボトムボートやその他のウォーターアクティビティも利用できます。海底にはサンゴの破片や、ときにウニがいることがあるため、リーフシューズが役立ちます。状況は天候や潮によって変化するので、泳ぐ際は指定されたエリア内にとどまり、ボートの航路を妨げないようにしましょう。
