"Snorkelled along the rocks on the south end and saw an octopus on day two. Pulëbardha Beach surprised me."
Priya S.

Pulëbardha — Albanian for 'seagull' — is an intimate cliff-framed cove just north of Ksamil with mint-to-turquoise water gradients and excellent rocky-edge snorkelling.

🏝️ Islands
Late June through mid-September offers the warmest Ionian water (24–26°C), reliably sunny days and full beach-club service. May, early June and late September are quieter and ideal for hiking the cliffs.
Most travelers fly into Tirana or Corfu and drive the SH8 coastal road along the Albanian Riviera. Pulëbardha Beach is reachable by car, local minibus or — for hidden coves — by boat shuttle from Sarandë or Himarë.
Yes — the Ionian water is calm, shallow and exceptionally clear. Bring water shoes; most beaches have pebbles rather than fine sand.
Albania is still markedly cheaper than its Greek and Italian neighbours. A sun lounger costs €5–10, a fresh-fish lunch with wine €15–25, mid-range hotels start around €60 per night.
Major beach clubs and restaurants accept cards, but small kiosks, boat captains and remote coves are cash-only. Withdraw Albanian lekë (ALL) — euros are widely accepted in Ksamil and Sarandë but at a less favourable rate.
